to make money from Fansites!
This
is a powerful, brand new business model I am going to go through in this report.

beauty of the Fansite market is that there will always be people out there who
will have a favourite celebrity they follow and will therefore, be eager to
browse their website etc.
In
Fansite Instant Profits I am going to show you a step-by-step business model

This
system can be used in mainly any niche you can think of and I am going to show
you how you can create your own cash pulling fansite that can generate you a
ton of cash for many months.

Celebrity
Fansites
Celebrities have a huge following online. There are a ton of
searches for different celebrities online.
From Justin Bieber to Eminem, the list is endless.
For example, if we head over to Google Keyword Tool here are a few
examples of the searches for different celebrities.
As you can see the One Direction singer Zayn Malik is generating
90,500 searches.
The
term “Justin Bieber” fansite is generating just over 18,000 searches a month
too.
And
here are some searches for the celebrity Lady Gaga.
There
are a ton of searches when it comes to celebrities online because people love
following their celebrity and always love to follow them on social networking
sites and be part of their fansites.
For
example, here is a fansite for Lady Gaga - http://gagadaily.com/
This
fansite site has 102k Facebook fans and nearly 300k Twitter followers – it also
has a page rank of 5. We can see clearly that this is a profitable fansite and
makes a lot of money from CPA and Affiliates.
This
site was created in June 2009 and in just over 2 years it has become one of the
largest Lady Gaga fansites on the Internet.
The
more content you have on your site and backlinks the more money you will make
from your fansites.
In
this section I am now going to show you how to firstly go about creating a
profitable fansite.
The
first thing you need to do is make sure you register a good keyword rich domain
name.
So
for the purposes of this RSO I am going to stick to a celebrity and then
purchase a keyword rich domain name.
So
therefore, I have decided to focus on the singer Zayn Malik because I own the
domain name zaynmalik.co.uk.
The
first thing I need to do is set up a basic Wordpress site for Zayn Malik.
Before
I go into the meat of this report you can decide whether you want to set up a
community Fansite that allows people to interact with each other through forums
or simply set up a basic fansite.
I
highly recommend you set up a community fansite because forums will always attract
returning visitors and as a result the more people you have on your community
the more money your site makes in the long-term.
There
are some paid options available if you want to set up a community type fansite.
Here
are some of the community based forums I highly recommend.

There
is also a free version of community forums you can install. The only catch is
that the ads will be shown on your forum site.
As
you can see I have set up a simple Wordpress website. The only thing this site
needs is some content – lots of it and a community forum so people can
interact.
You
can also use existing services out there that allow you to create fansites.
Here
are some of the ones I highly recommend.
The
fact of the matter is building your own Fansite is going to be a profitable
avenue for you (I will show you how later in this report).
Once
you have decided on a suitable platform for your online fansite the next thing
to do is have someone create a header for your Fansite.
Your
header should be attractive enough to get people on your fansite.
Here
are examples of a few headers of various fansites.

You
can find there are a lot of people on Fiverr.com who can create you outstanding
headers from just $5.00.
Here

Once
you have a pretty professional looking header designed for your fansite the
next thing to do is start adding content to your fansite.
The
content should reflect your fansite. For example, if you have a Justin Bieber
fansite then you want relevant content and up to date news for Justin Bieber.
If
you are lazy to write the content then you can hire someone to write you
articles from Fiverr and get them to create the content for your fansite.
Fresh
content is always going to be important for your fansite because the search
engines are constantly indexing blog posts and new websites for new fresh
content.
The
next thing you need to do is integrate your fansite with social media.
Facebook
Page
The
first thing I would do is integrate a Facebook page for your fansite.
This
is important because by doing this you are going to be getting lots of fresh
visitors to your website and at the same time you can leverage Facebook traffic
to your fansite.
The
best way to integrate a Facebook page to your fansite is to firstly create the
Facebook page for your fansite and then embed it on your wordpress/website.
This
is pretty easy to do so.
Simply
head over to https://developers.facebook.com/
and click on the “Build for websites” link.
The
next thing to do is click on “Build for websites” until you see a screen that
looks like this (see below).
Then
click on the “Like Button” (highlighted above).
Then
click on the “Like Box” until you see something like this.
Then
simply customise the Like Box and click on “Get Code” until you see a screen
that looks like this (See below).
As
you can see I have selected the “Iframe” tab. Simply paste this onto your
website and then your Facebook page should end up appearing on your website.
The
next thing you need to do is monetise your fansite with Ads so you can start
making money from it.
If
you are going to be monetising it with CPA Ads then you can use the following
types of CPA Ads.
For
example, if your Fansite is about Rihanna then I would use CPA Ads that relate
to music in general.
Here
are some CPA Ads I could use.
This
CPA offer pays just over $1.63 for a lead. It gives people a chance to win
Tickets to see Rihanna in December 2011.
Here
is another CPA offer that is related closely to music.
This
CPA offer is by Napster and pays just over $5.25 to anyone who signs up to
Napster and downloads this.
I
would use a combination of high paying to low paying CPA ads on your fansite.
Don’t just clutter your site with ads as this is most likely to turn people
away.
I
would also monetise my website with Adsense. This is very lucrative as Adsense
sites end up having a lot of value and if your site ends up making a tiny sum
each month then the value of your website will increase tremendously!
You
can also monetise your fansite with Amazon ads.
Amazon
is very profitable in the long-term and people are always eager to purchase
merchandise of their favourite music artist.
There
is a ton of merchandise you can promote using Amazon’s Affiliate Program – Amazon Associates.
You
can promote DVDs/Music/Clothing – just aobut anything for commission.
You
should also monetise your site with Youtube videos.
Create
relevant Youtube videos for your fansite using Windows Movie maker or Animoto.
Or
you can hire someone from Fiverr to create you a video for your fansite and
then simply use the keyword ninja strategy of using popular keywords for your
video.
For
example, if someone is constantly typing in “XYZ fansite on Google” then create
a video for your fansite and give it the title “XYZ fansite” and then use
Youtube annotations to direct people to your website and also through the
Youtube description page.
TIP
A
powerful tip I highly recommend is upload MP3s of music artists from http://rnbuncovered.com/ and
Find
an existing track that is brand new and then simply upload it to Youtube.
You
fill find that competition will be non existent or very low for your chose new
mp3 track (make sure you don’t upload an entire video).
Once
you have a video that has less competition simply monetise the video and then
link your video to your Fansite.
This
is a powerful way to leverage Youtube traffic!
Getting traffic to your Fansite
I
am sure you are wondering how you should direct traffic to your website.
This
part is important. The best way to direct traffic to your website is to
leverage Social Media.
For
example, traffic from Youtube through videos (as explained above) and also
Facebook – through Facebook pages and Facebook ads will generate you enough
traffic to your site.
However,
you should also be getting lots of articles and backlinks hitting your website.
There are a ton of gigs on Fiverr that you should use to direct traffic to your
fansite.
Here
are my favourite gigs.
The
more relevant, targeted backlinks you have pointing to your fansite the more
chances your site will end up on page one of Google for your main keyword.
You
can also generate traffic to your site by
submitting it to a fansite directory.
The
popular one is http://www.hollywood.com/Fans/FanSiteDirectory
and http://sites-directory.starszz.com/.
The
more directories you submit your website to the more traffic you will get.
The
more “value” you add and bring to your site the better the long-term autopilot
income will be.
In
the next section I am going to show you how you can sell Adspace on your
fansite and make money.
Selling Adspace on your Website
Want
to make an extra revenue stream for your website?
Once
your fansite starts generating lots of traffic and you have a community of
regular people the next thing you can do is sell ads pace!
Selling
Adspace can be very lucrative.
People
would be willing to pay you good money to advertise their business on your
website.
There
are a number of ways you can sell ad space to people online.
Here
are lots of different ways to sell ad space
through your fansite.
Fiverr.com – great place to start testing
There are a ton of people on Fiverr who are selling Advertising
space to people.
For example, check out the following Gigs.
There are always people out there who are willing to pay you to
have their banner or website URL on your website. People are charging as much
as $100 to advertise on their Fansite.
Buy Sell Ads
You can also sell your ads on http://buysellads.com/.
This is a great site where you can attract a lot of people who are
willing to pay you good money to advertise on your website.
For example, this webmaster is selling adspace on his rap website
for $150 for 30 days.
The size of the ad is 468 by 60. Here is an example of the type of
ad that would be shown on the forum.
Imagine having your own fansite community website where you can
charge people $100 to advertise for 30 days – this itself is Autopilot Income J
By selling advertising space on your fansite you are increasing
the value of your website.
In the next section I am going to show you how you can further
profit by flipping this website on Flippa for a lot of money.
Flipping your Fansite
Once your website is well established on Google and it is making
money from CPA/Adsense you can take the next step and flip your site.
For example, take a look at this Flippa Listing.
This fansite was created for the game Call of Duty and this
eventually sold for $6000.
Here is another listing – this fansite sold for just over
$1020.00.
There are a ton of listings like this on Flippa and people are
buying fansites like this.
If your fansite is generating little revenue, and manages to get
on the first page of Google then you will have a great opportunity to sell it
for maximum profit!
Tip – Creating forum fansites can be lucrative. People love
joining forums!
You can sell adspace on forums too, and have people coming back
(returning visitors) to your site.
The best way to create a fansite is to start searching for your
celebrity and see what people are typing on the search engines.
